As sure as the setting sun my little babe turned three last month. This mama is officially out of baby stage. (tear)It is a little sad and a lot of happy! I do miss my kiddos being babies, but we sure are enjoying this new life stage we are entering. Our little doll baby, Judah Lou is such a blessing to our family! Happy Belated Birthday to her. We celebrated with a small party at Chuck E. Cheese's. She loves that place so much. Judah has been a joy from day one. She lights up the room wherever she is. She's the perfect mix of spunk and sweetness. I call her missy prissy often. She loves her big sister and big brother but she also loves to boss them around. hehe. ;) She loves her mommy and daddy and tells us we are her best friends but she also loves to scream at us and boss us around. hehe. ;) Needless to say, she thinks she's the boss of this family. lol! She's learning. ;) Judah continues to be my little song bird. She loves to sing! She sings songs she knows and made up songs. I love this about her. She will start preschool this fall and she's very excited about it! All my kiddos have gone to preschool even though we homeschool. I think preschool is so great for them to gain much needed social/play skills i.e. the world doesn't revolve around me I need to share my toys type skills! ha! We love you sooooo much our little doll baby (you'll always be my doll baby no matter how old you are)! Thank you Jesus for the blessing of Judah Lou!
It's been a few months since I last posted. Life sure gets away from me quick these days! Our three kiddos keep us busy plus it's been Jared's super busy time of year with his job. We recently had family pictures taken so I thought I'd post a few. The kiddos are age 7, 3 and 4 (axl almost 5!). I'm so blessed to be Jared's wifey and my kiddos mommy! Thank you Jesus for this little flock of mine. :)
Two of our little cuties are playing soccer this season. They have enjoyed it! The league is laid back which works out great for our family at this stage of life. :)
We recently decided it was time to get some chickens. It's something we've talked about for a couple years now but we wanted to wait until the kids were big enough to help out. Mama can barely handle the chickies I've got if you know what I mean. ;) (hehe) Anyway, we purchased a chicken coop and 6 baby chicks a couple weeks ago. Believe it or not, all 6 chicks are still alive and well! I'm honestly in shock that we've been able to keep all of them alive. lol. Anyway, their home for the past couple weeks has been in a metal tin container in our garage. They now have feathers so we plan to transition them to their coop this weekend. I'm excited to get it all set up! Our coop is a cute little barn coop. :) We aren't sure if we have any roosters yet so we plan to get a few hens who already lay eggs in the next week or two. NO roosters allowed at the Fowler Farm. ha! We will only have about 7 or so chickens so we want all of them to lay eggs! Gotta produce to make the cut around here. ;)
Spicer B. has always loved gymnastics. I remember when she was little bitty she'd watch the big girls and say, "Mommy I want to do that someday!" She would just watch in amazement as they flipped all over and swung on the bars. Well, now, it's her turn! Sweet little lady received an invitation to be on a competitive gymnastics team for 2016-2017. We have accepted the invitation. A lot of prayer went into this decision as they practice on Monday and Wednesday evening. Wednesday evening is church for our family. The owner agreed to allow SB to leave practice at 5:30 each Wednesday for church! God worked this out! I'm so thankful for this opportunity for big Sis! She's very excited. I think it will be a great learning experience for her for sure. We look forward to being a part of "Team" gymnastics this coming year! Congrats sweet girl! :)
Big sis finished her second season of basketball back in February. She played for our local school district and had a blast! They had such a great group of girls on their team. Such sweeties! Each game they improved and by the end of the season seemed like a completely different team! They didn't pull of a win (the other teams were honestly amazing for their age) but we were so very proud of their hard work and dedication! They laughed and had fun at each practice and game and to me that's what is important at this age. :)
I am mother to three precious kiddos and wife to one amazing husband! Our family always has a blast together! We are very thankful and give God all the Glory!
