4 months!

Our precious baby girl turned four months old on October 3. She is the sweetest little 4 month old around! Judah Lou has such an easy personality. As long as she's fed, not sleepy and has a dry diaper she's pretty much good to go! She smiles, coos, laughs and squeals all. the. time! Happy, Happy, Happy! That's her! I recently let spicer begin carrying her a while she walks some. Spicer absolutely loves that! She loves being a "little momma." And Judah Lou adores Spicer. Axl thinks he should be able to carry her around too, ha! We're not ready for that yet! He absolutely loves little Judah Lou and she loves big brother too. Judah Lou has been dealing with some allergies for the past few weeks which have turned into an ear infection. boo. :( She is currently taking her first round of antibiotic. I never would have known she had an ear infection. No fever. No fuss. And still eats like a champ. Think we caught it early. At her 4 month check-up she weighed 15 lbs 7 ounces and was 25 inches long. Dr. Jon said she's bigger than 4 out of 5 girls her age. She's a chunk! and I love it! We praise the Lord for our healthy happy baby girl Judah Lou! :) She truly is a blessing from Him.

Mt. Magazine

We headed to Mt. Magazine a few weekends ago for a much needed get away! It's an easy go to for us. (we went to Branson this past weekend, hopefully I'll do a post about that soon. I've been behind on blogging and I'm hoping to do better.) We stayed in a cabin. LOVE! We only stayed one night this trip but it sure was a blessed time. We were able to check into our cabin around noon. Wow! That almost never happens. We enjoyed our afternoon at the cabin playing with the kiddos and resting. We then ate some dinner at the lodge and headed to the pool. Judah Lou got to get in the pool for the first time. She was pretty chill about it. lol! The next morning we roasted marshmallows on the outdoor grill (the fireplace inside was closed for the season, but when daddy makes a promise, he keeps that promise!)We took the kids for a wagon ride to the lodge for breakfast and then swam one more time! So fun. So relaxing. Much needed. It has been a busy summer for our family. We've added a third little blessing to our family which we've adjusted to this summer (3 little ones has been very busy, but we really have adjusted well) and daddy has been extra busy with mowing this year because of the unusually cool wet summer. So it was very nice to get some time away with our little family. We praise the Lord for His blessing and don't take a moment for granted.

Bedtime

Oh how I love my three little blessings, Spicer Beth, Axl Joe and Judah Lou! And I love the little bedtime routine our family has settled into. Each night Jared takes care of getting the two big kids their shower/bath. I take care of bathing little miss Judah Lou. Judah Lou goes to bed first. I feed her a couple ounces of formula and while she is still awake lay her in her bed. She safely drifts off to sleep. Then I will do some kitchen clean up and get ready for bed. By this time, Spicer and Axl are ready for their nightly "cuddle time." I absolutely love this! We sit on the couch and watch a show for 5-10 minutes all snuggled together. Lately the show has been "Full House." Axl usually sits on my left and Spicer to my right. They both like for me to have my arm around them. Awh! Melt momma's heart. Daddy usually sits by Axl for a few minutes and Spicer for a few. After our cozy cuddle session we head to bed. Axl likes to turn the t.v. and light off. (He's getting so big!) We head to their room. They get in bed with daddy in between. He reads them a bible story from their bible story book. Prays with them. And then he heads to bed. I then tuck them both in (I usually have to get Axl back in bed a few times ;). Spicer loves to be completely wrapped up in her sheet. She's been really particular about it being over her shoulders! Axl wraps his self up in his "blanket" which I think he's been calling "baby." lol! I then pray with them again (Spicer has to have me pray.) She always wants me to pray for her tummy to feel good (She's had me do this since she had a stomach virus last January, it was pretty rough for her because she's never had one before). And sometimes she asks for me to pray for her to have dreams about her and her friends playing. So, so sweet. I always pray that they will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love others as their self. We end our evening with hugs and kisses. I say, "Have a good night-night, I love you." And then they say it back. Spicer always has me say "k" i.e. ok, after she's said "I love you" to me to let her know I heard her. :) The "k" part has been pretty funny at times. Now, Axl thinks you say "k" as part of night-night. He'll say, "k, k, k!" LOL! The boy is hilarious! I absolutely love and cherish these precious times with my 3 little kiddos. They are growing so quickly and I want to cherish every stage of growth. I want to enjoy them and have enjoyed them with each step of life! I don't want to forget these everyday "mundane" things. I will treasure them always! To God be the Glory!

3 months!

My little Judah Lou is 3 months old today! She the happiest little baby and we are so thankful God blessed us with her. Spicer and axl absolutely adore her! As soon as she enters a room they are in they have to give her some lovin! It's so precious! Judah Lou loves her some baby talk and loves all the attention she gets from everyone! When you look at her she flashes that big dimply smile and melts your heart! She has started giggling some and it's the sweetest little sound your ears ever did hear. :) Little miss is still a great sleeper. She's been sleeping about 12 hrs a night for a couple of weeks now! Ptl! We don't have another check-up until 4 mths, so I'm not sure on height and weight. She wears size 3-6mths and 6 mth clothes. Just a healthy growing girl! Thank you Jesus for our precious little Judah Lou!

"House"

My little Spicer Beth sure does love to play 'house.' If we are having a day at home she pretty much plays house off and on all day. ;) Her little imagination amazes me. It's like she is totally in her own little world. For example, the other day I heard her yelling at her kids to get up out of bed. I said, spicer why are you yelling? Mommy doesn't yell at you to wake you up. She said, but mommy, I've been trying to get them to wake up and come down stairs to eat their breakfast for a while now and they just won't get up! Lol! Love her!a Another part of house involves changing her babies and kids clothes. She usually has anywhere from 3-6 kids! She's running a big family! She takes full advantage of having a baby sister by helping herself to any of Judah Lou's outfits for her babies! I absolutely love it! Sometimes axl joins in and he just imitates whatever she does. Or she may make him her husband or one of her kids. :) some of my favorite childhood memories are from times of me and my sister playing "house." So I just absolutely love watching my little girl enjoy it so much! To God be the Glory!

Snuggles

Snuggling with my sweet 12 week old baby girl this afternoon. There are many chores that need to be done but for now they can wait. Time is fleeting and for this moment, I choose snuggles with this blessing. :)

2 months old!

Little miss Judah Lou turned 2 months old on Saturday. She is the sweetest little baby! We sure do love our little Lou Lou! :) Here's the latest news about her: she sleeps 8-10 hrs each night (ptl), wears 3 month clothes, is a big smiler and baby talker, she prefers to sleep on her belly but mommy is working to get her to like her back (belly sleeping makes momma a bit nervous) for now she sleeps on her belly to fall asleep then I put her in her carseat to sleep at night, she takes naps on her belly or in her carseat. :)
I'm not sure how much she weighs. She has a check-up this wk so we will find out for sure then. I'm guessing around 11 or 12 lbs though! She's a chunky little gal! Judah Lou has brought more love and joy into a family that was already overflowing with it! We praise The Lord for His blessings! To God be the glory!
