up on the mountain

we headed up to mt. magazine for a few days this week. and man do we love it up there! it was completely foggy and rainy the entire time but we didn't mind, to us that made it extra cozy. we cuddled by the fire, roasted marshmallows, made crafts, baked cookies and a pie, swam, ate some yummy food, napped and ate some more yummy food! and the best part was that we did it all together as a family! i'm so thankful for all the awesome times we get to share together. building our family unit. it's the best! :)

a little branson action

It's no secret that the Fowler family loves us some Branson! :) So, naturally, we headed up there for a little weekend getaway when daddy said, "lets go!"

We thought it would be fun to take SB to an indoor waterpark and we were right! She loved it! And we loved it! I just love playing with that little sweetie! She's so much fun! It was Axl's first time in a pool and he loved it. The first time he only had a swimmer on and pretty much turned blue because he was so cold! yikes! He and I ended up snuggling and just watched big sister and daddy play. The next time we were more prepared. Daddy got him some swim trunks and he wore a shirt! He loved it! He's such a laid back kid! Just a perfect fit for our family!

We are so thankful for these awesome times with our family! Thankful for all these wonderful memories! Love them so much and praise the Lord for them! :)

playtime at the landing... can't go to branson without a little "Cantina Laredo!"

breakfast at Cracker Barrel... Hands down, one of my favorite places for breakfast!

camera lens was fogged up...

so... i felt like blogging today! lol!

It's been a while for me! A while since i've consistently blogged. I guess I just haven't been in the mood lately or really since Mr. Axl was born! ha! I'd say that I didn't have the time but if I really wanted to blog, I'd make time. So, I guess it suites best to say, "I just haven't really felt like it!" ha! There is so so much to blog about though so I need to get. in. the. mood! Oh and I should probably change my blog background since Christmas is long gone! I'll get around to that soon. hopefully!

These are some recent pictures of some of our activities and here's a summary. lol!
It's been unseasonably warm around here so we've played outside a. lot! Spicer loves it and Axl loves it! He will just sit in his stroller FOREVER and watch me and SB play! It's awesome! Saturday Spicer Beth got her ears pierced! She had been asking to do
it for a while so we went ahead with it! They looked so so pretty and she loved them. But. Yesterday one of them started to get red, swollen and painful so we had to take them out. :( Guess we'll try again another time. On another note Axl is growing like an overgrown weed! lol! He's huge! He weighed 18 lbs 2 ounces over a week ago! I'm curious to see what he'll weigh at his six month check up! I think a good third of his weight is in his head! His got one big noggin! lol! :) Rolly. Polly! and we love it! He is loving standing up! He squats then stands and can even stand up on his own while leaning on something! He's got some beefy muscled up legs! :) We went to the dentist yesterday for SB's second check-up/cleaning. That kid loves it! I absolutely hate getting my teeth cleaned but my daughter is in heaven during her cleaning! ha! Life is good! I'm feeling a lot more like myself these days. The ol' bp is headin on down and back to normal. PTL! Still on med. just not near as much as I was. I'm getting back into working out (Turbo Fire with Chalean Ray) and love it! Also, been cooking and eating super healthy. So. I think that is helping contribute to the overall state of well being! lol! Getting closer with my Savior after a little drought time. That definitely makes a big difference! If I haven't had my Jesus time, you really don't want to be around me. Heck! I don't want to be around myself! God is good! He is Faithful! And we are thankful!
