11 months!

My sweet baby is quickly becoming a toddler! She turned 11 months old a few days ago. Where in the world have 11 months gone? Time has always flown with kids, but, this third time around has "really" flown! Crazyland Flown! lol! My happy go lucky 11 month old is walking, jabbering, playing with the "big" kids well she's basically doing everything now. I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy because she's healthy and growing but sad because she's toddling and not just being a baby anymore. Oh, don't get me wrong, she's still my baby though! Her hair has really grown a lot lately and yes it's curly like big sis and big bro. So many people have told me how my three kiddos could be triplets. It's true! They look so much alike right now. They are similar in so many ways yet so different! I love their individuality! Judah Lou can hold her own with the big kids too. If she isn't liking something, boy howdy will she let them know about it! No teeth yet and thank goodness because she's gonna be a biter! lol! Spicer and Axl better watch out if they aggrevate her! We are loving life and having the best time raising our three sweet blessings! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. (Next post will be the big year! a little tear...) ;)

9 Months!

Sweet, Sweet Judah Lou is 9 months old today! 9 months! How and why does time fly so dadgum quickly?! Yes, these years while my kiddos are so small are a challenge but they are oh so sweet and I don't want them to fly by. So, time, please slow down! Just a bit! Little miss is one happy easy-going baby. She really is just the sweetest little thing. She has a precious little dimple on her left cheek that will just melt your heart when she smiles. Her hair is growing in sandy blonde and getting longer and thicker. She started crawling a couple days after she turned 7 mths and has seemed to be professional at it ever since. lol! During her seventh month she began pulling up and walking along furniture as well. Recently she started clapping those chubby little hands. Awe. Melt me. She actually clapped the other night while standing unsupported! She's getting some good balance. I'll be surprised if she isn't walking by 10 months. She's already pushing her little stroller several steps! I'm not trying to rush her into it though. I want her to stay a baby for now. ;) She just loves to check things out and keep up with big brother and big sister! She waves hi and it's the cutest thing. She actually says hi too! In one of the pictures below i caught her waving hi! I said Hi Judah Lou and she waved and said hi back. She is in size 12 months clothes and size 2-3 shoes. She wears size 3 diapers. She went to the dr last week for a cough and she weighed 19.1 lbs! She's still a chunk and I love it! Thunder thighs! lol! We praise the Lord for our doll baby. Thank you Jesus for the blessing of Judah Lou. Thank You. Thank You. Thank you. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

1/2 Birthday!

Doll Baby turned 6 months old on December 3. Boy has time flown during her "babyhood." She is still a bundle full of joy! She's gotten a lot more active this past month! I mean. A. LOT! lol! She is sitting up now. Rolling all over the place! Scooting some. If she wants something she finds a way to get it! Getting up on all fours like she's ready to just take off! Yikes! Momma's not ready for the crawling stage, especially with big brother always leaving little somethings on the floor. ;) I do think she will crawl soon though. The older two didn't crawl until around 9 mths. But, little miss has to keep up with the older two now! She gets so excited to see them. But, she also gets so aggravated by them too! And, she lets them know she's aggravated! haha! She's really coming into her own! If she is playing with something and you take it away she is not happy about it! A Spunky little Fowler! What do you know?! (hehe) Didn't expect anything less. All of our kids have a LOT of spunk! And we love it! :) Miss Judah Lou is weighing 17 lbs 5 ounces now. Chunk-a-Munk! love those rolls! She is around 26 inches (can't remember exactly). Bigger than 3/4 babies her age. She wears size 9 month clothes and I'm guessing size 2 shoes. She really hasn't worn many shoes yet. She wears size 3 diapers. During this past month she flew on an airplane for the first time. Rode in a bus for the first time. Went on a Disney Cruise for the first time! She's a world traveler already! ha! We sure do love miss Judah Lou. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

5 years old!

Welp. It happened. My sweet "bunkin bo" (spicer's nickname as a baby). My first born. The one who made me a mother. Turned the big "5" years old last week! 5. Such a big number. So many things come with the age of 5. The main thing being "kindergarten." Eek! But, we will cross that bridge when we get there! Just want to take some time to share some things about my sweet Spicer Beth for now. Spicer fits her name perfectly. She is the spice of life! She enjoys pretty much everything (except for maybe going to crossfit and waiting on mommy, hehe). Bless her. Jared and I are still new at the parenting thing when it comes to her. She's the first to deal with our parenting flaws. Spicer is such a great friend. She has so many good friends and she loves them so much. With that love sometimes comes hurt feelings but they always mend quickly. ;) Spicer loves God. She enjoys praying and going to church. She likes reading bible stories together. Everything she is, is because of Him. She recently asked me and Jared to buy some toys for the children of the world who do not have toys before we buy her toys. Jared said, well what if we run out of money before we can buy you toys?" She said, that's ok. Such a big thing for a girl who's only 5. Spicer loves her daddy. Anytime they get to go hang out just the two of them she's on cloud 9. Spicer loves her mommy. We enjoy our "girl" time together, especially mani's and pedi's! Spicer loves her brother. Axl and Spicer can fight like no other two kids I've ever seen but they can also love each other like no other two kids I've ever seen! and. The fighting has slowed down the older they get and the closer they get. they are best buds! Spicer loves her baby sister. Judah Lou could just sit and watch Spicer and Axl play for hours. Spicer loves to hold her. Sometimes big sis is a little ornery with little sis but they love each other so much. Spicer says Judah is the cutest little baby she's ever seen. Spicer loves her Ma, Nanny and Papaw. She just lights up when she's with them. She loves her aunts and uncles. She enjoys gymnastics and dance. Spicer is precious. ornery. quick whitted. spontaneous. imaginative. kind. loving. joyful. happy. smart. adventurous. strong. athletic. pretty. Spicer is Spicer and that's what I love most about her! Recently Spicer has been asking questions about Salvation. The other night she said, "What's that "saving" thing?" You know, the thing they talk about at church. :) Praise God he is preparing her heart for choosing his free gift of salvation. I pray the Holy Spirit hovers over her and draws her heart toward him. We want her to choose Christ because that's her choice, not because that's what mommy and daddy want or because she thinks that's the right thing to do. We want it to be a genuine understanding of Christ's love for her and in return a genuine love for Christ. I pray the Holy Spirit leads Jared and I and gives discernment for what to share and when to share it with her young moldable heart. I love how God uses his Spirit to help us. Especially when we ourselves have absolutely no idea how we should answer. He gives us the words to say. Praise His name! We pray the Lord makes miss Spicer Beth a mighty warrior for him in this dark evil world we live. I pray she always has a close genuine relationship with Jesus. One where she knows he is her best friend. Where she knows he leads and guides her and trusts deeply in him. I pray she is a leader for Him. A leader and role model for Christ. At home. At church. At school. At gymnastics. And wherever this life takes her. To God be the glory! So, happy 5th birthday to our beautiful (inside and out) Spicer Beth! We love you our sweet daughter. You're our favorite 5 year old! ;)

Happy 5 Months!

My sweet baby girl Judah Lou turned 5 months old yesterday! 5 months already! Unbelievable! What a blessing these past 5 months have been. We are so thankful the Lord lead us to have a third child and blessed us with our precious Judah Lou. She brings so much joy and laughter to our family! We all adore her! At 5 months old she is wearing size 6-9 months. We mostly buy 9 month outfits now. She really doesn't wear shoes much but when she does its a size 1. Most of the hair on the top of her head has fallen out. It's growing back in blonde. She looks so much like Spicer and Axl it's not even funny! ha! I love all their similarities. :) She's still pretty easy going. However, now that she's getting older and more aware, she prefers that someone be in the same room as her. lol! She's use to having non stop entertainment with Spicer and Axl! She will still lay in bed and talk and play sometimes too though. :) She has had allergies the past couple of months so her sleep at night hasn't been as consistent. She still needs about 12 hours at night but she does wake up periodically and needs her passy or a pat on the bottom. ;) The past few nights she's been waking up, talking and rolling around for about an hour! Guess she needs some midnight entertainment. Momma doesn't, but i guess she does. Hehe! :) She wears size 3 diapers and probably weighs around 16 lbs. We praise Jesus for this little arrow we've added to our quiver. One that will be a warrior for his kingdom! :)
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! Psalm 127:4-5a

4 months!

Our precious baby girl turned four months old on October 3. She is the sweetest little 4 month old around! Judah Lou has such an easy personality. As long as she's fed, not sleepy and has a dry diaper she's pretty much good to go! She smiles, coos, laughs and squeals all. the. time! Happy, Happy, Happy! That's her! I recently let spicer begin carrying her a while she walks some. Spicer absolutely loves that! She loves being a "little momma." And Judah Lou adores Spicer. Axl thinks he should be able to carry her around too, ha! We're not ready for that yet! He absolutely loves little Judah Lou and she loves big brother too. Judah Lou has been dealing with some allergies for the past few weeks which have turned into an ear infection. boo. :( She is currently taking her first round of antibiotic. I never would have known she had an ear infection. No fever. No fuss. And still eats like a champ. Think we caught it early. At her 4 month check-up she weighed 15 lbs 7 ounces and was 25 inches long. Dr. Jon said she's bigger than 4 out of 5 girls her age. She's a chunk! and I love it! We praise the Lord for our healthy happy baby girl Judah Lou! :) She truly is a blessing from Him.

Mt. Magazine

We headed to Mt. Magazine a few weekends ago for a much needed get away! It's an easy go to for us. (we went to Branson this past weekend, hopefully I'll do a post about that soon. I've been behind on blogging and I'm hoping to do better.) We stayed in a cabin. LOVE! We only stayed one night this trip but it sure was a blessed time. We were able to check into our cabin around noon. Wow! That almost never happens. We enjoyed our afternoon at the cabin playing with the kiddos and resting. We then ate some dinner at the lodge and headed to the pool. Judah Lou got to get in the pool for the first time. She was pretty chill about it. lol! The next morning we roasted marshmallows on the outdoor grill (the fireplace inside was closed for the season, but when daddy makes a promise, he keeps that promise!)We took the kids for a wagon ride to the lodge for breakfast and then swam one more time! So fun. So relaxing. Much needed. It has been a busy summer for our family. We've added a third little blessing to our family which we've adjusted to this summer (3 little ones has been very busy, but we really have adjusted well) and daddy has been extra busy with mowing this year because of the unusually cool wet summer. So it was very nice to get some time away with our little family. We praise the Lord for His blessing and don't take a moment for granted.
